Mixed Area - 7/6/2008
Inglewood has its pockets of nice areas but it really depends on your neighbors and what you're willing to put up with. I was recently cussed out because I left my neighbor a polite note asking her to clean up after her dog. There are some nights when you can hear gunshots in the distance and hear the police helicopter flying around. Some weekends people have loud parties until 3am. Someone tagged up our carport a few months ago. I don't feel like I'm in danger but I get the impression that there are a lot of people that don't have respect for the neighborhood. For my family, it's been a good starter neighborhood until we can afford something better. On the plus side, it's very centrally located. I had to go downtown everyday and it would usually take about 25 minutes.[read more...] |

I am trying to get out of Inglewood. Its ok for starters or for the people who were born and raised here, cause they're used to it. The crime is rising, but there are parts that are very nice.
