Needles, California is located in the far southeastern corner of the state near the border of Arizona and Nevada. It is known for its proximity to the Colorado River and has a rich history in the southwestern United States. The city is home to many attractions, including golf courses, museums, parks, and outdoor recreation opportunities. Needles was once an important stop on the historic Route 66 highway and while much of that history has been lost over time, there are still remnants that can be found throughout the area. Visitors to Needles will find plenty to do, from enjoying a round of golf to exploring one of the many museums or discovering something new in one of the nearby parks. Visitors also enjoy taking in desert landscapes and unique natural wonders like Havasu Falls just south of town.
The reviews for Needles are generally positive with a few exceptions depending on what people are looking for when they visit. Many people appreciate its small-town charm and appreciate being able to explore all that it has to offer without feeling overwhelmed by bigger cities or tourist traps. Others may feel disappointed if they expect more modern amenities like shopping malls or major chain restaurants that can be found elsewhere in California. However, most visitors leave Needles with fond memories and would recommend it as a great place to visit for some relaxation away from everyday life.

The best kept secret in the US - 3/19/2020
I own a home in full, with no mortgage and a spacious yard. I can walk to white, sandy beach riverfront in 10 minutes from my front door. In 20 minutes I can be at Laughlin enjoying a casino strip that's like Vegas but on the water with beaches. 24hr sit down restaurants in town. Gorgeous Lake Havasu only 40 minutes south. Gorgeous weather 9 months out of the year, with 3 months of super hot but dry summers. Diverse international visitors from all over the world come through this area. Just big enough to enjoy but small enough to leave all the stress and crazy traffic behind. We have a college campus, hospital, basically everything much larger cities have. I love it here, best investment I ever made. I instantly went from poor to middle class as a homeowner, and it's changed my life. Plenty of kids and under 50 folks moving in too. Grab a house here while they're still affordable! Laughlin and Bullhead City just north of us are close enough to make up for anything we don't have, and Read More
