I have lived in San Carlos for over 15 years and absolutely love it! There is a great mix of age groups and it is becoming more ethnically diverse. Kids play on my street. There are a variety of activities that make living here fun and reminiscent of small-town America:
-The summer Friday night concerts in the park are lively and very well-attended.
-There is an annual Art & Wine Festival on Laurel, our main street, also well-attended.
-The annual Hometown Days includes a parade, crafts and food booths, live entertainment, and 5K and 10K races.
-There is absolutely no reason to leave town for a lovely dinner out - we have broad dining choices.
-Multiple shops of all kinds from antique to optometrist make the downtown a fun place to browse.
I have visited hundreds of other cities in the U.S. and abroad and find San Carlos to be my favorite, by far.[read more...] |
