Can't wait to move out - 2/23/2019
First of all, Soledad is not a beach town. It is located about 45 min from the nearest popular beach.
Second, it is windy everyday for a few hours. Third, texcept for Pinnacles national park,you there is nothing to do here. zERO. Nada. Nothing. No museums, no theatre, crappy parks, 1 bar, 1 card room, 1 major grocery store and it is awful, FoodsCo.
As soon as the sun retires for the day, this town is as dead as a Milli Vanilli concert. There are no cute shops, no cute plazas, no cute anything (people included).
As far as the population, here is the breakdown
Blacks I can count them with my 2 hands
Whites about 25%
Asian handful
Middle Eastern. 2 handfuls and they own 3 the dollar stores in town
Gangs. Mostly Norteño, Salinas, CA is half an hour away. It is gang infested. Constant shootings . Both towns are very unattractive and the majority of people are not the nicest people.
