SperlingViews - Westminster, California

Westminster is a very busy, albeit somewhatsafer area to live. It's nicely located not far from freeways or the beach, has a good mall and plenty of shopping options. Little Saigon is a fun place to take visitors. It's at the crossroads of three large cities (Santa Ana, Huntington Beach and Garden Grove) and that makes for some heavily trafficked roads and polluted air. It's not really a place to raise kids, unless you find a private school. The public schools here rate very poorly, unfortunately. Overall, a nice town. But don't expect too much quiet.[read more...]

Great weather year round. Summers are usually in the high 70s-80s, and occasionally peak in the low 90s. Winters are moderate (70's). You can literally ski, hike and surf in the same day if you wanted to. Hawaii is beautiful, but Orange County has the best overall weather year round in America.[read more...]

The area of Westminster that we live in is quiet and safe. All the neighbors know one another and watch out for each other's children and property. One night I accidentally left my car door open with my purse and the next morning everything was exactly where I left it.[read more...]

Westmisnter is a great city if you want to be immersed in the Vietnamese community. In my city we have 5 grocery stores and 4 of the are Vietnamese. The area is very expensive to live in but is close to the booming city of Irvine...unfortunately traffic makes a 15 minute commute last over an hour.[read more...]
