A college town on edge - 2/21/2006
Boulder's reputation as having one of the best schools in the world(#11), and being several times rated as the #1 Party school, gives an awful lot of irony and possibly a reason for the problems with Boulder Police and how the Police are viewed by the community. Boulder Police and Sheriff Dept. have been riled on by numerous articles and protest, as well as lawsuits, due to there "corrupt" system. They have a college town to contend with, which puts them in a stressful position, which leads to their harsh and illegal methods employed throughout Boulder.
