The best weather in the US, maybe even in the worl - 4/21/2009
The weather in this part of CO is absolutely wonderful. This is largely due to the altitude and lack of humidity. It can be 32 degrees and not feel cold. One day may bring 4-12" of snow, but within 1-2 days, it's gone. My only complaint is that we get most of our snow in Feb., Mar. and April. This year we didn't have more than 3" at any one time, until mid April. Two days later, the snow had melted away and the temperature was near 70 degrees. We do have a few hot, dry days in the summer, but again the lack of humidity makes it bearable.[read more...] |
