We moved up from the South. Even though we have met a handful of nice people, we find the majority are terribly rude and uptight. We feel if you weren't "born and raised" here, then you just aren't worth anybody's time in getting to know and building a friendship. The drivers are crazy. They speed and pass in NO PASS zones. The cost of living up here is insane. Property taxes have gone up each year we have lived here. Utilities have gone up as well. The Deer, don't even get my started on those animals.
On a positive note, it is beautiful here. Truly four seasons. The snow is a bit too much, but it is beautiful.[read more...] |
