Out of Control Taxes - 8/11/2008

Southbury used to be an affordable small town to live in. In just the last 7 years property taxes have risen almost 70%. Many people who could easily afford to live here a decade ago are having real difficulty affording the taxes today. The local government can't spend the money fast enough. Fiscal responsibility doesn't exist here, thanks to our First Selectman and Superintendent of Schools. I can't wait to move.[read more...]
