Rude and Inconsiderate - 5/6/2007
If you are wealthy and can live "at the beach" then perhaps one's life here is idyllic, but basically the Miami/Dade area is populated by rude and agressive road warriors with too much money to spend on obnoxious, large, gas guzzling and overpowered cars and no awareness that there are actually other people on the planet...will be glad to leave soon.[read more...] |

I can't wait to get away from the Tampa Bay area! It is nearly impossible for the first time home buyer (who isn't independently wealthy!) to buy a nice home in a good neighborhood around here and still have enough money each month to buy groceries! The housing costs are ridiculous. You get a cookie cutter house with no yard and you pay out the wazoo for it. Why? There isn't anything special about the area.
