I have lived here in Margate, FL for the past 7 years and I must say it has been very nice. The people here are nice and as far as the crime rate goes I must say I have never heard of anything happening close by or to a neighbor. I am glad to have moved here![read more...] |

Home Invasions Burglaries - 10/10/2010
The crime statistics you see listed for Margate Florida are misleading, I have lived in Margate for years, I like many of Margate residents have had my home broken into vandalized and burglarized. Many, many people have had their cars vandalized, tires cut etc. Margate is a much more dangerous city than indicated by the statistics, remember those statistics are compared to the national average. Large cities like New York are averaged into the statistics and in many ways distort the numbers. Crime in Margate is not recorded. [read more...] |
