The best time of the year in South Florida is between October and February. Usually it's not too hot, not too cold. Daytime temps average in the mid 70's to 80's. Sweltering in the summer though. Average temps during the day are into the 90's. If you like it hot, this is the right place. Keep in mind, we are in the tropics, so it rains almost everyday during the hurricane season. Usually in the morning and then again in the afternoon. You can almost set your watch by it.[read more...]

Tamarac is just north of Fort Lauderdale. Although a very nice area,like everywhere else in South Florida, housing costs have climbed over the last 2 years. Rental options are very limited, as most apartment and condominiums are now no longer available. [read more...]

a nice place to live use to be a big retirement community but that is changing do to lack of housing for younger families not as pricey as coral springs public school are still some what decent housing cost well if your new to florida have a sit for sticker shock if not for the price and the area its not so bad i would recommend something east of university drive[read more...]

Tamarac is a suburb where a lot of elderly folks llive. It is also quite crowded and the realestate has gone through the roof. An old house at an over 55 community can easily run over $250 and that is for a two bedroom.[read more...]
