There is not much crime in Forest Park - 3/11/2010
I read a review stating there is a lot of crime. I have lived in Forest Park since 1971 and have never been robbed or the victim of any other crime. We are a multi cultural community and live quite peacefully together. I'm sure there is some crime but it must be very low. The police are quick to answer a call and fast to respond to any request I have ever made for them to come check out a situation. We are also within 5 minutes of three different interstate highways which I value to save me time. We are 12 minutes from Atlanta for those who commute to work. We are within 10 minutes of the airport if travel is a must for you. The property taxes have gone up too much to suit me this past year and I am very critical of that expecially since the roads to be in quick need of repair. I do not see where the city is spending the money they are collecting on any road repair, just patching making a bouncy ride. I highly recommend living in Forest Park and that is why I have been here for 39 years. [read more...] |
