We have lived here for 20 yrs. As a retired Military family we had our choices where to retire. Martinez Evans Ga was our choice. Cost of living, location and amenities were all here.The schools are great, police dept are all, here to serve and protect. Shopping is convient and we are getting upscaled restaurants. You can feel safe walking anywhere at all hours of the day. We are 2 hrs from wonderful beaches and the mountains.And we don't have snow. Unless it just falls and leaves after noon. Cost of living is pretty good too. If anyone has medical needs we have it here.With Medical school of Ga, Va hosp, University Hosp, Trinity Hosp and Doctors Hosp all within 20 miles from us.Evans/Martinez, Columbia county Ga is the best kept secret we found..You are welcome to join us.....[read more...]
