Besides house costing 3 times as much as most of the rest of the US, every thing else is atroicous as well. Gas, utilities, food, all at least 25% more than mainland. If you hit the lottery or make $200K+ it's not bad but for the rest of us too expensive to ever enjoy the beauty and weateher.
