Small Town Living - 4/30/2008
Quiet, lovely rural environment. Small town life encapsulated. Fairly long winters, temperate summers. About 300 people in the town and only 1,000 in the entire county. Reasonable cost of living. Access to outdoor activity unlimited.
About an hour's drive to larger grocery stores, theaters, upscale dining, etc.
Small medical and dental clinic. K through 12 schools. Limited employment opportunities. Net access available. Low crime rate. Neighborly folk![read more...] |

I grew up in this town and is REALLY small! - 7/25/2006
I spent the first thirteen years of my life in this town and let me tell you it is really tiny! Its very beautiful and a wonderful place to visit but I wouldn't recommend raising your kids there, not enough other kids to play with and zero diversity. The animals on your farm become your very best friends! I would recommend attending its annual fair in August. There is all sorts of things to do and a really fun street dance with a live band. People come from all over just to go to this fair! Check out the Prairie Dog Contest, my mom was the very first Prairie Dog Pageant Winner!!!!![read more...] |
