This isn't Coeur d'Alene or Spokane - 7/16/2008
Spirit Lake has it's own little micro-climate. In the summer, the mountains block some of the rain that the rest of the area seems to get. In the winter, it is significantly colder than Spokane (where we get our TV weather forecast) or CdA. We get a huge amount of snow--much more than the surrounding communities. We have lots of snow when other towns get a trace and it lasts weeks longer in the spring.[read more...] |
