Ever increasing taxes - 10/15/2010
I have lived in this area for 30 years and the property taxes just continue to increase. While the saying "you get what you pay for" is generally true, it doesn't appear to hold in Illinois. In this era of poor economic conditions, the state of Illinois is broke, the property taxes are high and the average citizen does not get much for the tax dollar.[read more...] |

A very nice community to raise children, has old fashioned kind of vibe with a town area, farmers market,lots of parks and trails, a very diverse area,and with the city of Chicago only being about a half an hour away, you are close enough for day or weekend trips, but far enough from all the traffic and busy.[read more...] |
