Park Ridge a better than average choice - 2/27/2006
Good access to public transportation-2 train stations,nearby train to Chicago loop,close to O'Hare Field all plus. Older town layout with horse/buggy roads now main routes=in town congestion . Great schools,solid people. Last 10 years many simpler houses torn down to make way for mini castles. Downtown(Uptown) being redone with low-rise apts. and town homes.
