Water/Sewage Utilities! - 2/14/2017
Water/Sewage bill in Huntington IN is outrageous! My bill has gone up about 30% to 40% in 4 yrs!! Consider moving to this town, consider again - 2/27/2011
This town has lost job company after job company, there is no real work here.
Even fast food restaraunts arent hiring and if you lose your job while living here unless you are a young female bombshell you will exhaust any unemployment you might receive (if you are even lucky enough to get it). The politics for this town is horrid at best (Samuel Huntington the founder of the town decreed if any black/african american family moved into this town that the courthouse was to be torn to the ground but multiple african families later the building still stands, one of the biggest bars in town is less than 1 city block from the police department so dont think of going there and going anywhere afterwards other than jail.) This town has 3 things to consider, 1.) Churches 2.) bars & 3.) jail....if you arent in one then you will probably be in another. The judge that is over one of the courtrooms
for everything including public intox., dui, dwi, drug busts etc. (you get the idea) also Read More

Huntington City / County Indiana - 1/17/2006
Huntington County is located in the heart of America’s heartland. Area residents enjoy the close proximity of Fort Wayne- Indiana’s second largest city- only 25 minutes away and is surrounded by a substantial network of state and federal highways. The Wabash and Erie Canal linked Huntington and Fort Wayne in 1835, opening Indiana and the entire Midwest to settlement. Incorporated in 1848, Huntington was named for Samuel Huntington, Governor of Connecticut and a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Huntington County continues to make history in the modern era. Dan Quayle, the 44th Vice-president and the fifth Hoosier to hold that office, calls Huntington home.

Huntington today - Huntington County welcomes newcomers with an appealing variety of homes. Our country lanes and quiet neighborhoods offer something Read More
