Great place for family - 7/12/2006
I moved to Plainfield several years ago, and am really impressed by the focus on families, recreation, and values. The town has built a recreation complex that includes a large indoor/outdoor waterpark, basketball courts, and fitness center that is less expensive for a family membership than every much smaller private gym I've seen; the town has extensive walking/biking trails, many parks, and a library that is top notch for a small community.
The one drawback is the housing market - homes are cheap, but can be difficult to sell due to the lack of growth in the Indianapolis economy.[read more...] |
