With the present unemployment rate of 4.8% in Folsom, a rate that exceeds the national average of 4.6%, Folsom should welcome new businesses with open arms and not "curb building projects." Folsom officials have re-introduced an ordinance that would block some new business and residential building projects within the village limits for six months, or until the village's plan is completed.
