 The cost of living - 10/6/2007

This is a very small town and some of the older generations here still call it the Village of Provencal. It is usually a quite little town with not much excitement. Mainly populated with older generations that have lived here all their lives. There is one convenient store, and a local post office, a community center right in the middle of town for rent for those special occasions with a park behind it. We have a volunteer fire department with an exercise Walk-a-round behind that. We live a quite country life here without all the hustle and bustle of city life. But if the need to go into town arises, Town is only 17 miles away being the nearest with the most shopping centers which is Natchitoches.[read more...]
