rat race - 10/19/2010
I comute 1 hour for work and these people are in a race to get everywhere. The majority of people are high strung and unstable. I hope it doesn't happen to you.[read more...] |

Not bad for the area... - 6/15/2010
Nestled between D.C. and Baltimore, Eldersburg offers a bit of an escape from the hustle, bustle, and hassle of the city. It's expensive, housing is over-priced, and rentals are scarce. It's a very nice community to raise a family in and feels safe. As much as I like it here, I'm heading back west. The biggest issue for me is taxes, taxes, taxes! Its not the place we thought it would be - 8/16/2009
Moved to Eldersburg in 2008. Scenic location 20 miles from Baltimore. The issue we find is the overly pretentious, better than thou parents and their whiny students. Its a very rich area with a high "white" population filled with entitlement issues. If you like to educate or have your children educated in that environment, by all means this is your kind of place! We'll be leaving soon and won't miss it.[read more...] |
