college town main street - 6/18/2008
If you can tele-commute to work in a major city, and appreciate snowboarding, hiking, and kayaking close by, then this small college town (5k students) is a great place to live. Its also dirt cheap (many homes still under $100k). Tombstone cafe is the place to eat on main street. Winters can be rough for the non-skiers/snowboarders. One year we received over 200 inches of snow. Almost all homes are within a couple blocks to main street.[read more...] |
