Amesbury great place to live - 2/21/2012
My wife and I have lived in Amesbury for the past 12 years. It is a great small town which has always lived in the shadow of its neighboring Newburyport but we have a number of great restaurants and a quaint downtown with a real "hometown feeling" real estate taxes are high. [read more...] |

The community in Amesbury really takes pride in their town and the businesses in town really try to make sure that they participate and sponser many events in town. the downtown area is beautiful with many new restaurants. The parks like Town park, Woodsom Farm are enjoyed by many.[read more...] |

Welcoming to new students - 4/27/2010
The kids at the elementary and middle school are so welcoming to new kids. I found that they go out of their way to help a new student fit in. The administration pairs them up with a student and makes sure its a good fit for both. The students genuinely want to know more about where they came from and what their old school was like. Beaches, Mountains all within reasonable distance - 4/27/2010
Amesbury has many beautiful beaches within 15-20 minutes and the Merrimack River in town for boating that flows to the ocean. Amesbury also is a 45min to 1 hour drive to the mountains of NH or MAine for skiing and hiking.[read more...] |
