For a community nowhere near Boston, Andover is very posh. The downtown is lavish and you get the Affluent New England charm there. With excellent school systems, and inhabitants that make far more than they need in the town, it is easy to see why Andover is a good fit for a growing family. You don't see the excessive spending of money as you would see in towns closer to Boston.[read more...]

Lived in the area most my life and while the town is unquestionably beautiful, there's a certain air of elitism (read: white entitlement...especially among the youth) permeating Andover that has given it a bad rap over the years.
