Nearly-Poisonous Tap Water... ironically superb he - 4/24/2009
The tap water comes out smelling of bad fruit and looking of urine. I filled a gallon jug with tap water when I first moved here to keep by a plant I was watering, and by morning there were two inches of dark black and yellow substance (Iron? Rust?) settled at the bottom of my jug. I asked my landlord about it and was told about how bad the water here is. The same tap water broke a humidifier I'd bought for winter. Whatever is floating around in the tap water was too much for the filter the machine came with. I had a relative over who didn't realize about the tap water and drank from the sink. It left him sick for three days, symptoms a bit mimicking that like food poisoning. I just really wish something would be done about this, as it is NOT normal.
On the other hand, I've never seen such pro-active kind doctors. I have never before been happy with a physician, but I'm happy with mine in East Bridgewater at Compass, and so is my husband.[read more...] |
