Living in Longmeadow - 3/7/2010
Upscale suburb of Springfield, Ma. Located near routes that make for easy North-South and East-West access to bigger cities (Hartford/Boston; airport (Bradley International); and the Berkshires. School system is desirable and athletic teams are always some of the best in the state (lacrosse, soccer, hockey, basketball). Plenty of sidewalks for jogging and biking. Good family community without. No real crime problems.

Good place for kids to grow up! - 7/28/2009
While the schools may be a little cliquey, the overall safety, education, and cleanliness is among the best in western mass. (I'm not saying things like that will never happen there, but in my experience, they never did!) People say hello when they walk by you! Growing up there, friends of mine complained about wanting to get out b/c it was little, etc. But now they wish they could go back! It's a good town for young families with kids.[read more...] |
