I grew up in Glennie. I live down state now and I miss it everyday of my life! I love how quite it is up there. I diffently miss the whole enviorment up there. Its so beautiful and I never noticed that until I left. I wouldnt say id ever move back but I would buy a house up there and vaction as much as I could. Everything is so far away. You have to drive an hour to alpena pretty much get anything you need!And was reading there is a decrese in jobs in glennie (which is happening everywhere) but there was never really anywhere to make a living up there in the first place. And if you ever have been to glennie you will notice how nice and kind everyone is there! I miss that so much. I just wish the rest of the world were luke people in glennie.[read more...]
