Chelsea, Michigan has small town character with plenty of culture and recreation, too. With numerous art galleries, the famous Purple Rose Theatre by actor Jeff Daniels, an award winning library, a historic downtown, numerous festivals, and much much more, it is the ideal place for visitors. Residents also enjoy the many opportunities to attend events, take classes, enjoy nature at the largest state park in southern Michigan, and get involved in community projects.
