relocating to atlanta - 5/26/2010

i live in mn and im sick of it me and my family are relocating to atlanta ga but idk if im gong to go threw with it i dont have any job experiance being a stay at home mom my husband works at supervalu distrubution center and makes atleast 22 dollers an hour but if we relocate to atlanta and he transfers hes only going to make 12 dollers an hour so i know he might have to get another job or im going to have to find one im thinking about moving to savanah or decatur ga but idk if its a good place to live oh and atlanta but im on the fence since i have 4 children i have two sons 18 and 12 and 2 daughters 15 and 2 and i dont wont my children especially my 15 year old to get out there and get into a lot of trouble and the schools there idk im hearing that atlanta is a great place to live but its gotten out of hand in the last couple of years any input?and i dont know if atlanta is a high place to live at and the utilites im trying to atleast move into a 3 or 4 bed room[read more...]

Twin City Theatre Scene - 11/29/2006

Saint Paul and Minneapolis are blessed with a wide variety of music and theatre venues. The Ordway Theatre in St.Paul is a spectacular music hall and offers a great variety of musical events from classical to broadway shows. The Fitzgerald Theatre is home to the Prarie Home Companion and adds it's unique blend of events. Minneapolis has the beautiful new Guthrie Theatre a spectacular venue on the Mississippi river. Orchastra Hall is another excellent music hall with great acoustics. The State and Orpheum and Pantages theatres are older facilities with a wonderful history that have all been renovated and now host many musical and popular broadway style shows. There are many more active theaters in the area too numerous to name but they all add to a vital and exciting option for all kinds of theatre goers.[read more...]
