Starkville has very little to offer as far as parks. However, there are several leagues available to keep the family busy. (baseball and soccer are the two big ones) There is also dance, football, bowling, basketball, and cheerleading that are sponsered by local businesses.

Transportation in Starkville, MS - 10/9/2007
On the average, daily traffic is fine. A downside to the traffic is there is a university in this small town. This means there are many different driving styles crammed into a small space (especially on game days). In town traffic is mostly daily commuters because now the highway has been re-routed to go around the town.[read more...] |
