My View of Hannibal - 5/23/2009
I grew up in Hannibal, MO. It has advantages of low cost of living and a beautiful River View Park. It is a small town where everyone knows everybody. If they don't like you, you'll know it. If you like that type of living I'd say go for it. The disadvantages are any business that gets started in Hannibal never last, I have witnessed this for 4 generations. It is not properly run in my opinion. There is nothing to do. I would recommend a near by close town called Quincy, Il approx 15 to 20 miles from Hannibal. I have moved away and very happy that I did.[read more...] |

Plenty of recreational facilities, Mississippi River, Cannon Dam and lake nearby, great hunting and fishing. Leisure living can be at its best here.[read more...] |
