bellevue - 3/28/2008
I lived Bellevue for 4 years. I never lived in the Midwest so I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it, but I really enjoyed my stay there. I see this area as having the best of both worlds. You have the laid back farm area, and then you have Omaha right down the highway. So you can enjoy both really. This is a great place to raise kids too. The summers are pretty hot and muggy, and the winters get very cold, but you get all 4 seasons. Be advised there isn’t a whole lot to do in Bellevue, it’s just your standard small town, but there is shopping and things like that nearby, plus whatever is going on in Omaha. Ultimately I really enjoyed my time in Bellevue. I should also mention that the wind blows constantly, and you see some wicked weather in the summer.[read more...] |

No Good Transportation System - 2/1/2007
Bellevue, a suburb of Omaha, suffers from the same fate as Omaha, a poor excuse for a mass transit system. A few buses run through the city, but very few outside of there, and only one per day to Bellevue.[read more...] |
