Mugginess - 1/1/2010
I'm a New Englander and am considering a move to NE. One factor that I consider important is the mugginess factor. I had visited Research Triangle Park years ago in August and the air was so bad, I stayed in my hotel room for 3 days - in bed. I'm looking for most days of the year to be "breathable".

Great Quality of Life - 1/1/2009
Despite high property and state income taxes, Papillion is a very family friendly place with great neighbors, excellent schools, beautiful parks and trails. Papillion is a growing community with more shopping, restaurants, and entertainment being developed every year. The city is small, about 20,000, but it is a suburb of Omaha and has a decent size airport with access to all the major cities.[read more...] |

Expensive Tax State - 6/25/2006
Nebraska is hellish on taxes, income, property, sales, gas, local including some services. Some old people can't pay their taxes for homes they own and would like to keep, but social security is not enough to live with the tax base.[read more...] |
