I have lived here for 5 years. This is a very conservative town with a large LDS population and many retired folks. If your LDS you might love it, but otherwise the town is hard to get connected in and kids that aren't LDS may struggle in the schools, yes the majority of staff is LDS to. This end of Lake Mead has dried up so no boating anymore which was one of the best parts. It's hot and dry with no jobs and absolutely no desire to bring anything new in. But it is quiet and safe with no stop signs.[read more...] |
