The cost of living is not bad, but the rents are high, and so are the tax's. Crime is very low and what crime does exist is usually perpertrated by non-residents and out of staters, Salem is The neighborhood on the Masssachusetts border.The neighborhood is, for the most part,quiet, except when the weekenders are here, I live on a lake.
