I've lived in Barnegat for 5 years. I have several children in the school system. I have been pleased with the education they recieve. The amount of money spent on each child is HIGH. Were close to the beach and bay. They have FREE SUMMER CAMPS, although the taxes are a little high, we do live in NJ> they just built a new beautiful state of the art HS, a new elementary and they plan to build new sport fields in the next few years. Although they are kinda dragging their feet on that. The PKWY entrance has offically started construction too! In comparison to other towns that experience over crowding I think it's a great place to live.[read more...]
