SperlingViews - Bound_Brook, New_jersey

Bound Brook is pleasant place to live. It is a small community that is predominately residential in character. Although it has excellent shopping within and adjacent to the community it has essentially no industrial activity within its borders. It has practically no open space other then three good sized park and recreational areas which is unusual for a community this size. Due to this the residential property owners must shoulder the bulk of the tax burden. However the residents do receive good value for there tax dollars and they do receive a substantial amount of financial assistance from the state of NJ. Bound Brook is known for flooding problems but the majority of the borough is not affected and the completion of flood control measures, with Federal funding, to eliminate this problem is anticipated within the next two years.
