SperlingViews - Cranford, New_jersey

I'm a cranford resident for 27 years. I don't know where they come up with the ratio of 13 students per teacher. That has got to be deceptively skewed because most of the classes my child has been in for the past 6 years averaged 25 kids per teacher, sometimes as low as 22. They must be including special ed teachers that give the special ed kids one on one help and then they average it out to make is sound like there are more teachers for ALL the students. Also there is a big bullying problem that they stick their head in the sand about. Otherwise I like living here. Just make sure you know if the property you are interested in is in a flood zone. My friend's house got flooded about six weeks ago and has had to gut the entire first floor.[read more...]

I work for the company that just built Cranford Crossing Apartments on South Street so today I spent walking around town to see how it would be to live in the village of shops. What a sweet and hip town - even has its own movie theater with first-run movies showing! Restaurants, ice cream parlors, antique shops, coffee cafes - lots to do and see and very convenient to just park the car and mosey around.
