Quality of life is good for NJ - 9/7/2007
Denville has a good quality of life for New Jersey.
It is a great town in which to raise a family: schools are good, there are lots of community activities, and it is safe. Taxes are probably in-line with the state average. Housing prices are high, just like everywhere else, which I think makes it very difficult for young families to move in.
Denville is centrally located to many major highways, and has the train station (to NYC).
Overall, it is a pretty town: tree-lined streets, and many lakes. The town does a good job of keeping the public spaces clean updated.
One of my favorite parts about living in Denville is the downtown area; there are many good restaurants and shops.[read more...] |
