This is a lovely town with pretty streets, lots of trees, nice people, abundant wealth, a diverse religious community, and a small, convenient downtown. All excellent. My only gripe: the arts aren't a priority. There is lots of activity around sports and sporting facilities, which include the excellent town pool and many parks and sports fields. But the high school doesn't even have an orchestra! There are very few non-sports activity optionns for kids or adults. Granted, we are very close to NYC and other cultural centers, so that may account for it, but, really, no orchestra at the high school?[read more...] |

This is one WONDERFUL little town. It has an absolutely wonderful home town feeling with a wonderful downtown area that kids can ride there bikes to a get a slice of pizza or you can stroll along with the baby carriage. It boasts an exceptional school district and access to the county park with great playground,and duck pond and long walking and biking trails. Its truly a home town feel and a slice of apple pie. Just prepare yourself this lifestyle doesnt come cheap. Home prices begin in the middle four hundred thousands! But if you can afford it you will not be sorry!!
