Not enough space - 2/23/2007
Hoboken, NJ, is a fun town, only a step away from NYC. I have really enjoyed it over the past several years, but alas, the cost of housing is so high that we cannot afford to buy a larger place in this area (larger then a two bedroom). Hence we will have to say goodbye within the next year if we'd like more space and to continue expanding our growing family.[read more...] |

hoboken cost of living - 12/2/2006
I moved to Hoboken 20 yrs ago taking over my brothers apartment,Im still here, it was an economical way to work in NYC and keep a few dollars. Since then it has turned into the 6th borough of NY,by being priced out of what were then resonable rents .The town has improved greatly with restaurants and cleanliness crime is down ,but the good feel of a somewhat gritty town has been lost[read more...] |
