Grew Up There in the 70's - 10/18/2008
As I remember it, it was a nice small town, with few sidewalks, and a community that was tight-night. I went to Traphagen on Summit, which had I not been teased, would have been idyllic. Looking back, I miss the area, the way of life and the coziness of the city. I live in Fullerton California now, which is overcrowded, similar financial demographics, but no one knows each other. It is so much larger. I loved sleigh riding down Summit Ave, and running in the woods behind my house, which I understand have been developed. The area was just beautiful, I just hope it has maintained some of the beauty and quaintness.[read more...] |
