Expensive? - 3/12/2008
Though the cost for food and housing are low, the taxes will eat you alive.
What looks like a good deal at first suddenly gets taxed to the max. School, income, property, purchases... it's all taxed. If they could they would tax the expression on your face. Poorly managed wasteful spending by politicians on special projects, money fed into NYC to pay for keeping it alive (lots of jobs there but the money is spent in PA, NJ, Conn & Ma). Industry and manufacturing is dying here due to lack of incentives and tax breaks.[read more...] |
