Manlius ...One of the best places to live in us! - 3/8/2007
I grew up in Manlius, NY (suburb of Syracuse) and now live in Washington D.C.
I will no doubt some day return back to Central New York where quality of live is unmatched anywhere. Manlius is what many American-Towns strive to be Clean, Friendly, Affordable, Proud, Well-Educated, Lots of Recreation, Culture, History etc.
The best thing about Manlius and (Central New York) is that it is REAL, NATURAL and UNIQUE. People are Humble and Value the simple things in life. I do not get me wrong Manlius is Progressive. Folks are head-strong, believe in their community and are loyal.
Make the move to Manlius where you can find a well build new home-condo or a old in town turn of the century charmer. Walk into town and have some of the best soft serve in the world at Sno-Top, swim at Green-Lakes State Park where the water is so clear you can see your whole body, Sip some home grown wine, take in a Syracuse U game at the dome, Go the live Theater, be proud that Manlius is the home to the ARTS and Crafts Movement and Stickley Furniture... this is living!
