A nice place to live - 7/31/2010
New Hartford New York has a very stress free, easy to get around atmosphere.Department stores, banks, theaters, grocery stores, theme parks, fishing holes, ski resorts,a casino with world class entertainment, spectacular golf courses, wonderful restaurants, excellent hospitals with first class medical care, and several nearby universities are all a few minutes away. The best part is you rarely have to wait.We do not have crowds of people like other cities with this much to offer.
The spring and summer have the most spectacular scenery of any place in the country with temps running from 60s to 90s and low humidity.
Housing prices are reasonable. You can buy a nice home on a large property for 150,000 and up.
It does start getting chilly mid oct.The winters can be quite cold and snowy but they have been getting milder over the years.Great ski resorts are close by.
New Hartford has an excellent school system. Most students graduate and go to college.
A wonderful place for a young family starting out![read more...] |

There is a broadway theater as well as art institute.[read more...] |
