Admittedly, North Massapequa is not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive place to live on Long Island but my wife & I have lived here for over 20 years and still can't find anything wrong with it. North Massapequa has great schools + low crime + beautiful housing & lovely well-kept neighborhoods. It has good shopping & is close to wonderful malls like Roosevelt Field Mall & Walt Whitman Mall. Perhaps the only criticism would be that Sunrise Mall in Massapequa ( not North Massapequa ) could use some sprucing up. As far as jobs are concerned, North Massapequa is located in the S/E corner of Nassau County & is about an hours commuter train ride away from New York City on the Long Island Railroad. [read more...]
