Great small town feel, but awfully cold in the win - 1/19/2010
Webster is a beautiful town. Everything you need as far as shopping, doctor's offices, and restaurants is a stone's throw away. This is also a terrific place to raise a family with a good school district. The lake is also very close by. The only downside to Webster is the very cold and long winter. Webster, NY - 4/10/2009
I have lived here almost my entire life. It is a great town. It has small town values, but the convenience and resources of a large town. There is great shopping, awesome schools, boating on Lake Ontario, and amazing parks. I have met people who have lived all over the country and Webster is their favorite place. Yes, we have cold snowy winters. But awesome sledding hills, cross country skiing trails, an indoor skating rink, indoor soccer facility and an indoor olympic pool give lots of options for indoor activities. When I lived in the country in the South and in the big city of Chicago, I missed everything that Webster offered to families.[read more...] |
